Jessica Berlin is a geopolitical and transatlantic affairs expert. She specializes in the nexus between security and development, economic drivers of democratic and autocratic transitions, and cultural-historical drivers of political and social change. Her career has spanned four continents working with the German and US governments, civil society, and the private sector in countries across the spectrum of dictatorship to democracy and poverty to prosperity.
Berlin is the founder of the strategy advisory CoStruct; Vice Chairman of the Board of fintech company OroboPay; an Advisory Board member at the Paris-based think tank Europa Nova, and a Global Governance Futures Fellow of the Robert Bosch Foundation. She has advised government agencies, foundations, investment funds, NGOs, and sustainable tech companies.
A frequent speaker and panelist, Berlin is noted for her ability to deconstruct complex issues, enliven debates, and inspire audiences. She holds an M.Sc. in Political Economy of Emerging Markets from King's College London, a B.A. in International Relations from Tufts University, and speaks five languages.
